Jess Stillerman

Jess has over a decade in social impact work in both developed and developing countries. At Aleron, she leads on complex strategy, operational engagement and impact measurement and management projects across large charities and foundations. Jess has worked in a range of sectors form environment and sustainability to education and health. She draws on her extensive experience in both academic qualitative and quantitative analysis as well as on-the-ground implementation and leadership in varying contexts, to bring a creative, flexible and robust insight to her work at Aleron.

Prior to Aleron, Jess worked at Ark, an international education charity developing schools to serve local communities of historical deprivation. Here she focused on programme management, strategy and government engagement. Before this, Jess worked with a number of NGOs across South Africa – in areas including health, sanitation, education and social justice – bringing expertise in campaign development and facilitation as well as a deep commitment to and understanding of social impact.

Jess holds a First-class MSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics, a BSc in Applied Mathematics and Economic History as well as BA Honours in Historical Studies from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Jess is also a Prince2 accredited Practitioner.
